Review the Focus List to identify possible Trading
Ideas when the Trading Parameters mentioned above tell
you when to trade: Focus List
Be willing to balance any initial Trade with a position
in the opposite direction if the initial Trading Parameter
that triggers your initial position begins to break.
Example: If you buy a stock because the Trading Parameters
tell you to buy, but then that same Parameter begins
to break lower, establish a short in a different stock
for balance (1 short and 1 long).
If you have balance in your trades (1 long and 1 short)
because a Trading Parameter is being tested, implement
the 5-point rule: Add a long or a short to any balanced
position if the NASDAQ moves 5 points above or below
the Trading Parameter which influenced the balanced
position: Example: If we bought the Market at 2000,
and the market dipped slightly to 1998 we'd have balance.
After that, if the Market moved up to 2005, we'd add
a long to overweight longs. Conversely, a break below
1995 would influence us to add short too. (Use 20 points
for the DOW and 2 points for the S&P 500).
